The unusually warm, dry weather has made Shipley a haven for butterflies this fall. A leisurely walk around the Center treats visitors to many different butterflies and moths as they visit the late-blooming flowers still loaded with nectar. Monarchs, swallowtails, cabbage whites and tons of skippers can all be seen...RIGHT NOW! But hurry, as the weather begins to chill, our fluttering friends will begin their migration to warmer climates. |
