Become A Docent At Shipley
 Here is a wonderful opportunity to spend a morning volunteering at Shipley Nature Center with beautiful surroundings and a chance to meet new and interesting friends. The Friends of Shipley Nature Center will be offering Docent Training Classes throughout the year.
 You will have the opportunity to learn more about Shipley, and this will prepare you to be a volunteer as a docent on Saturday mornings, or to be able to lead tours throughout the year. You only volunteer if you have the time, so even though you receive the docent training there will never be any pressure to volunteer. We work around your busy schedules. If you do volunteer your time and talent, you will have an experience which is very rewarding and fulfilling.
